About Us

Membership in the Central California Bead Society is open to anyone who is obsessed with beading. We string beads and weave beads; make beads and hoard beads, we follow instructions and break rules (along with a few needles). Our members range from beginners to nationally known designers and teachers.

The Central California Bead Society is a fellowship of kindred spirits that began in 1996 with the purpose of sharing and promoting the creation of beautiful beadwork.

Where and When

Meetings are held the fourth Saturday of the month at:

Fairfield Inn and Suites

 50 N. Clovis Avenue

Clovis, CA  93612

 

 Located just south of Herndon on the west side of Clovis Ave. in the brand new Fairfield Inn

Our meetings begin at 9:30 am starting with the business meeting.  Then from 10:30 to 11:00 am we will have show and tell.  Classes start promptly at 11:00 am and end at 2:00 pm.  All are welcome.

We have refreshments at every meeting to include, coffee, juice and snacks.

 

There are no meetings held in November or December (due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays) but we do hold a Christmas Party at which time all Secret Pals are revealed!

Our 2010 Annual Bead Retreat is hosting World Renown teacher, designer and Artist Marcia DeCoster for a full three day event August 6, 7 and 8,  2010. Class Names and Supply List to be announced in the March 2010 Newsletter.
